Annual Composition

The Coordination Committee members are elected at Meeting of States Parties and serve for a period of 2 years each. Of these, one year overlaps with that of the incoming coordinators to ensure smooth continuity of the thematic work. The Committee is chaired by the President. In addition to States Parties, the UN, the ICRC and the CMC are invited to Committee meetings as active members with observer status.
